Starting with my potty!

I used my potty (for its intended purpose) for the first time this evening!

After finding I'd done a bit of a mess next to Daddy's bedside table, Mummy and Daddy quickly chaperoned me on to the potty. I managed to get a little bit inside the potty, but this is going to need a little more practice.

Second birthday

I went downstairs this morning and found balloons hanging from the ceiling... it's my birthday!





That means there's lots to do. First off, I need to fill up the paddling pool that Grandma has given me for my birthday.



Hmmm... this could take a while.



Phew, these birthday parties are hard work! I need some liquid refreshment.



Drat, better fetch a bottle opener.



Now this is more like it... presents!





Mummy and Daddy bought me a cool sheep rucksack to take to nursery...



...but my main present from them is my playhouse outside. It's carpeted and everything!



Tom bought me some Thomas the Tank Engine things... my favourite!



I also had lots of wonderful presents from Granny and Grandad...



...and from Grandma.



And Tom wasn't left out either.



Daddy has made me a big cake.



And Daddy and Todd did the barbecue.



We had lots of fun on my new waterslide.







But I got very wet and tired.



We went inside and everyone sang 'Happy Birthday' before I blew out the candles on my cake.





Mummy cut the cake...



...and we shared it around.





I've had a very fun day.









Don't you just hate it when you get a fit of the giggles?



It was Isaac's fault... he kept doing wheelies on my plane!

Sound asleep

I'm sleeping in a bed rather than a cot more and more now. When I had my afternoon sleep today, though, I fell out of the bed. Mummy later came into my bedroom and found me in a heap on the floor, and was a bit worried at first. Even though I'd fallen out, I'd just kept on sleeping!

Wet walk

We went for a walk at Cockshott Point near Bowness today.







I fell over when I paddled in the lake and I got very wet!

Easter bunny

I met the Easter bunny today!!!!

Scooby Doo

I've been enjoying television more and more and like watching my Bob the Builder and Tractor Tom DVDs. But today, I watched my first ever film on TV... Scooby Doo (the hour-and-a-half-long film, not just one of the short cartoons)! It was really good and I was transfixed for most of it. Scooby made me laugh a lot!!

Ba-bye

Added a new word to my repertoire today... "ba-bye". It's even cuter when I wave at the same time.
