Baby walker
I'm still practicing on the baby walker. Not quite mastered this walking lark yet, but I'm working on it!

Local park
We found a park a short drive away, near Staveley. I went on the swings and the slides and it was great fun!

Luke's birthday
It's Luke's birthday this week and I went to his party. He had an inflatable ice cream van in the garden!

Gordon was there, too, and the three of us had lots of tasty food!

Bolognese... yum!
Daddy came home to find me enjoying bolognese. It's so good that I smeared it on my face!

I suppose I've not been the tidiest of eaters here.

How do I look?

I'm getting tired now...

The day after my birthday
The day after my birthday Daddy went to watch my football team in the play-off finals.
Altrincham were playing Eastbourne at Stoke City.

Alty scored first (see below) and won 2-1...

...and that means they've been promoted to the Conference National... what a great birthday present!!

My first birthday
I'm ONE today!!
Mummy and Daddy both came to say 'Happy Birthday' to me this morning...

...and we went downstairs to open some presents.

In the afternoon, lots of people came to my party. Can you spot me in this picture? (You'll find the answer below...)

Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves...

...there were lots of other babies there, too...

...and Alan made a fuss of me!

Here's the answer to the question above... did you manage to find me?!

We had a Bob the Builder theme, and Daddy baked me a big sponge cake with special icing!

Now then... let's see what Granny thinks of Bob the Builder...

I'm having fun, but when are we going to cut the cake?

Ahhh... a cuddle from Mummy. That'll do nicely. But what's Grandad doing behind? He of all people should know how to wear a 'Bob' hat properly!

Right... about time... the cake!

And what a lot of wonderful presents... Uncle Charles and Isaac bought me a noisy cement mixer!

Uncle Mark and Auntie Jaymie bought me a cool sports car!

Granny and Grandad gave me a super pirate ship!

And the sandpit from Grandma was great fun even before we got it out of the box!

Oooh... it holds water as well as sand... now that's what I call fun!

And Uncle Paddy bought me a baby walker. I am going to have to practice on that.
From Mummy and Daddy, I got an inflatable castle, some clothes, a seat and helmet so that I can go cycling with them, and a couple of Bob the Builder things.
Lots of other people bought me wonderful presents, too. Thank you everybody... what a lucky boy I am!

Month 12 (12/4/05-13/5/05)
I've been practicing the piano with Grandma once again.

And I've been exploring the cupboards back at home...

Shucks... caught in the act!

I gave King Louis a tour of the house...

...which finished with a cuddle from Mummy!

To kerb my exploration a little, Granny and Grandad have bought me a playpen.

Now then, I wonder if I squeeze out through here...

Hmmm... perhaps the other way?

Looks like I'm trapped!

So long as Mummy is trapped with me, though, I don't mind!

Mummy, Daddy and I paid a visit to Chester Zoo and saw all kinds of funny-looking animals.

What a great day I had!

A week later we were at Hucknall near Nottingham to watch Altrincham play their last league game of the season. Here I am on the terraces...

...and with Mummy...

...and Daddy was there too, of course!

In fact, even Scooby Doo was there!!

Here's Alty scoring from the penalty spot.

Unfortunately, Alty lost 4-2 but the good news is that they made it into the play-offs.
Back home, Daddy tried to discipline me...

I have been going to Tumbletots with Mummy on a weekly basis. Daddy took time out of work on one occasion to come along too, and so we got some photos of me playing there.

This month has also seen me get my first haircut. I got a special chair and was given chocolate in order to keep my head still. I'm easily bribed when there's chocolate on offer!

We also went to Polly's christening. Polly's Daddy is a friend of Mummy's from her University days.

The next morning I had a bad hair day!

I have been watching Mummy and Daddy on the telephone, and am getting quite good at copying what they do now.

I went to Gordon's birthday party this month, too.

We had a great day out at Docker Park Farm.

Back at home, I kept watch to make sure the lawn was being mowed properly. I made sure my builder's bum was showing so that I looked the part.

Now then... this is a new one on me... noodles!! They're not bad, too!

My birthday is getting really close now.
The day before I found a very interesting looking box...
