Week 20 (24/9/04-30/9/04)
What a busy week this is proving to be... on Friday, I joined Grandma and Uncle Paddy whilst Mummy went for a haircut. Later on, Mummy, Grandma and I went swimming. I have a new inflatable toy which is great fun.

When we got home, we found my passport had arrived in the post. I think this might mean that Mummy and Daddy will take me to Paris with them when they go next month.
On Saturday, we headed to the north-east because Daddy and Grandad are running in the Great North Run. People up there speak in a funny way.
We stayed in a nice cottage in Bamburgh.

There were lots and lots of people at the Great North Run. Here's me watching Grandad approach the finish. He's still smiling, even after 13 miles!

And here I am with Daddy having finished. Last year I did the run in Mummy's tummy so I should have one of those medals!

Even though I don't have a medal, I like being on holiday!!

I got to go out in my papoose for the first time. It's a good view from up there.

When we got back from our walk, I was taken to the park.

It is great fun on the swing.

The following day we went to Bamburgh beach.

I like the sand, but it itches a little if it gets in my nappy!

And finally... meet my alien cousin. You can tell the difference between me and him because he has distinctive antennae.

Week 19 (17/9/04-23/9/04)
I've added a few more things to my dietary repertoire this week. I have tried sweet potato and butternut squash. They are my favourite vegetables to date. I'm still not keen on carrot.
Been doing the usual yoga and swimming as well. I'm also giggling more and more. As you can imagine, I'm worn out.

Week 18 (10/9/04-16/9/04)
Daddy got a letter from Cumbria Constabulary saying that he's naughty because he's been driving too fast. On closer investigation, it turns out that it's Mummy and I who are partners in crime. It was just that it happened in Daddy's car.
Here is my mugshot for the offence.

Actually, Daddy just needed to take that picture in order to send off for my passport.
I am getting more used to lying on my belly.

One time, when Mummy wasn't watching, I actually rolled right over.
Here are somem more shots of me on my tummy.

It was Granny's birthday this week, so we paid a visit. Now I can go in the hammock without having to still be in my car seat.

Here am I giving Granny a birthday present. As you can see, this requires full concentration.

I'm laughing and giggling far more than ever. Isn't life fun?

...espeically when there's football on the telly!

I've been getting more used to solids this week. I have taken to fruits more than vegetables. Pear is my favourite.

Week 17 (3/9/04-9/9/04)
Mummy and Daddy took me to my first football match on Saturday!!! My team Altrincham were playing against Harrogate Town who they'd never beaten before. If I'm not looking happy in the picture, it was because I was worried about having to join the away supporters.

Once inside, it was a bit noisy sometimes. I didn't understand what some of the people were shouting, and Daddy seemed to think I didn't need to know. Here I am at the game with Daddy... see if you can spot the ball (tip: look in the top left corner).

And here I am with Mummy at half time. It was 0-0 at this point.

Who needs oranges at half time?!

Altrincham scored 3 goals in the second half to win 3-0. It was good fun, but I was a bit scared with all the noise when the goals went in.
On the Sunday, we went for a walk at Dunham Massey near Altrincham.

We saw lots of funny looking animals which I hadn't seen before. There was this little thing with a big, bushy tail. I think it's called a squizzel. Something like that, anyway.

We also saw a few of these big animals. Some of them had funny things coming out of their heads. Apparently they are used for pulling Santa's sled.

Oh, and look at this funny monster. Its ears look really silly!

Talking of funny monsters, here I am swimming with Daddy back at the hotel.

And here I am with Mummy.

I've finally met another member of the family - Auntie Joan. I've been doing lots of big smiles for her.

Week 16 (27/8/04-2/9/04)
Mummy's friend June has been to stay this week. She is very good at making a fussy of me, and great at helping Mummy when I am being mischievious. We went swimming and went for a walk along the promenade at Grange-over-Sands.
We also had lunch out at Charlies Café Bar one day. Daddy joined us from work.

Here I am with June.

Mummy and June seem to do nothing but talk... I kept trying to get a word in edgeways!
