Week 15 (20/8/04-26/8/04)

Uncle Mark and Auntie Jaymie got married!!! Here they are cutting their wedding cake.

And here's a shot of both families. (I am on the left, at the back, with Mummy and Daddy.)

The reception was at the grandstand of Cartmel Racecourse. Myself and other children were each given a lovely horse toy! It's 'clippetty-clops' and 'neighs' depending on which ear you press.

Here I am with Auntie Marilyn near the finishing post.

We went out for lunch the next day. You'd think Daddy had taken enough pictures by now, but oh no...

Here I am with Sue after lunch. Sue's husband cuts Mummy's hair. She seemed to enjoy holding me and so I behaved well for her.

I have been giggling quite a lot this week. I've also had my moments, though... I'm dribbling quite a lot and wanting to shove things in my mouth all the time. Perhaps I'm starting to teeth?

Mummy has tried me on this baby rice stuff. I think I'll stick to milk, thank you very much.

Week 14 (13/8/04-19/8/04)

I played with Eliza and Freddie when I was down in Yorkshire. They are growing... even more than me!

Back home, we had a visit from Jillian and Ed. Apparently they are going to bring me someone to play with in a few months time.

My football team started the season today. They were losing 1-0 with 25 minutes to go, but ended up winning 4-1 and went straight to the top of the league! Yippeee...!!!

Here's a smile for Mummy...

...and a funny face for Daddy!

Gosh, it's been a busy week... what else has happened? Well...

...we went to Luke's christening...

...I helped Mummy and Granny preparing flowers for Uncle Mark and Auntie Jaymie's wedding...

...I went swimming for the first time...

...AND I got to go in Mummy and Daddy's big bath for the first time!

We watched England play Ukraine at, where else, but St. James' Park.

I was torn between the game and Mickey the Duck.

(Mummy said Donald was too boring a name for the duck so Daddy has called it Mickey.)

Towards the end of the week we went to stay with Granny and Grandad. Things are getting very exciting as Uncle Mark and Auntie Jaymie are about to 'tie the knot' - whatever that means.

Here we are two days before the big day. Going clockwise around the table, we have Derek, Auntie Jaymie, Neil, Rachel, John, Mummy, me, Grandad, Sheila, Pat (out of sight), Uncle Mark and Granny!

Everyone needed feeding because it had been another long day preparing flowers.

Listen to me coo!

Here's me and Daddy having a joint feed.

Mummy and Daddy's friend Russell visited this week.

Had more of those horrible vaccinations this week. Still not impressed. Went to baby yoga later in the week, though, and that was much more enjoyable.

Week 12 (30/7/04-5/8/04)

Uncle Todd and Auntie Marilyn visited this weekend!! They are good friends of Mummy and Daddy's but I had still yet to meet them. They are very friendly and I think they liked me. They brought me lots of nice presents.

On Saturday, we went for a walk around Tarn Hows near Hawkshead. Here I am with them.

And here's Daddy pushing me through a ford!

On Sunday they had to leave, but we were visited by Granny and Grandad, John and Pat, and Uncle Mark and Auntie Jaymie. It was a lovely summer's day and we had a barbecue outside.

I had a good day and Daddy managed to capture me smiling on camera.

Went down to Yorkshire and Grandma bought me lots of new toys. Here I am with them.

You can also watch me playing 'peekaboo' with Daddy!
