England vs. Switzerland

I've been busy watching Ascot on TV this afternoon. It's nice and colourful, even if some of the hats do look pretty ridiculous.

The main sporting event of the day has been England vs. Switzerland in Euro 2004, a game England really needed to win. I tried my other lucky England T-shirt, and this one worked a little better. England won 3-0 thanks to another good game from Wayne Rooney.

I watched the game with Luke and Gordon.

France and Croatia drew 2-2 so now England only need to draw against Croatia in their final group match in order to progress to the next round.

After the match, I had a bit of a tussle with Luke.

And then elbowed Gordon in the face for good measure.

Hope Daddy hasn't taught you those moves James. If he has, I suspect the rules explained so far don't include bookings and sendings off. Wonderboy Rooney can tell you about those though.

Hello Dan, I was born with my fists raised and have hardly dropped my guard since. Maybe boxing is my kind of sport although I have to say I do enjoy watching the football with Daddy. Maybe one day I can play for England.

    James
