Bank interest
Mummy was busy mowing the grass this morning. It was a bit tricky for her because she could only do a bit, stop to check on me... do a little bit more, stop to check on me again... and so on.
Afterwards we met up with Daddy and went to open a bank account for me. They made a real fuss of me in the bank. Next, it was off to Boots but Mummy was a little embarrassed at the scene I made in there, so we soon left.
Here I am relaxing in the evening, on the gym which I was kindly given on Sunday.

I thought you were supposed to be in the gym not on it!

Who's that being so pedantic?
It's a gym mat, so technically I'm "on" it.
In any case, I'm barely four weeks old so you hardly expect grammar to my strong point.

Why not? - with a Father like yours?

Allow me to dissect that statement.
"Why not?" constitutes a sentence in its own right because it ends with a full stop, exclamation mark or question mark. That being the case, your second sentence (which incidentally isn't a sentence because there is no verb present) should have started with a capital letter, but it doesn't. I don't know what the hyphen is doing there either, since its use is redundant.
I also notice you use a capital 'F' for the word 'father'. This is incorrect unless you were referring to God which, in this case, you are not. As for "yours", that is also wrong. This is the possessive usage (i.e. 'father belonging to you') and so therefore should have an apostrophe.
I hereby conclude today's English lesson.
